We are Disciples of Christ, a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. As part of the one body of Christ, we welcome all to the Lord's Table as God has welcomed us.
Our Mission:
As followers of Jesus Christ, led and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we believe God calls East Mesa Christian Church to be:
A place of outreach, serving our community to the ends of the earth;
A place of welcome for all people;
A place of spiritual growth
A place of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ
Some History of our Church
East Mesa Christian Church has been around for 41 years. Our charter was granted on January 15, 1978. There were 120 members. The sanctuary was built and the first service was held in February 1981. Our fellowship hall and office building was added in 1988.
Our congregation has dwindled over the years. We now have 60 active members. . Though our membership fluctuates we are a vibrant and welcoming church and we continue to grow.
Pastor Charles Dubbs joined the staff here at East Mesa Christian Church in March 2022.
